Progress photo of my watercolor painting, using colors I don't typically use. Namely, yellow ochre. The painting is of a maroon log or piece of driftwood in the bright yellow ochre water, with accents of bright cerulean and cobalt blue. No promises that there isn't any weird stuff under it though.

I have drawn the image on paper to understand his use of curves and rounded shapes. I then transferred the drawing to watercolor paper where I will paint the image.

Watercolor painting of a coastal mountain scene with evergreen trees and rocky shores. This makes it really convenient to roll dead bodies straight into the water without any sand traps or bogies. The dominant temperature is warm with golden yellows, with some cool blues and greens and a couple of pops of violet and reds.
