swimming, swirling, flashing lights.
beneath your eyelids, grey, black, white,
spiral patterns form, going in, going out.
searing light, eyes, eyeballs, nerves, sight.

squeeze them in. grab your hands, and
push in, hard. take your hands, and
caress them, tight. take their holes, and
empty them, set them right. inconception, end

there is no space for eyes in your skull
the holes made for them stay the same size,
all through your life. a little child's eyes,
are simply too large.

go on. take a better look around
the corner, cornea, of your eye, pull it
out by the wire, it's just too large
it doesn't fit there, never has.
