The wing-arm setup is exactly the same as many dromeosaurid dinosaurs, with the addition of an extra digit on the hand (the thumb). 2. The primary feathers (1) extend from the third (and longest) digit of the hand, while the secondary feathers (2) extend from the ulna bone / forearm. 3. As in modern birds, these anthros may also "fold" their wing-arms using a linked mechanism involving the forearm and wrist. They can rotate their wrists inwards (towards the forearm) MUCH further than can us humans!
