The former begroaning the spread of misinformation, exemplified in a screenshot of a post by kitttenn, that afirms the use of em-dashes are a dead giveaway of AI generated text and that human beings have no idea how to type this special character. Robin Marwick point out that, yes, some people do and they are called writers and editors. Rami Ismail adds in his quote that AI actually tends to use em-dashes exactly because it is a pretty common occurrence in the large pool of human output that was fed to the machine.
