hold on one more thought: trucy also might not completely blame zak for leaving her, and if she remembers giving phoenix the forged evidence when she was little, she might blame herself for it. especially given her reaction when apollo “took a break” during dd (which. not her fault genuinely it isn’t her fault but guilt doesn’t have to make sense) ALSO like even if zak did visit trucy again like… i don’t know if trucy knows what she’d say to him. and i think because of that she wouldn’t want to have the feys channel him? like what do you say to him. what if she said the wrong things. what if she messes up. fuck
one more thought: i think that if trucy and zak DID meet again it would have ended kinda similarly to that One Scene in aai2. hold on i’ll screenshot this so i can spoiler tag what i mean
(which, is the only time we see that particular sprite.) that being said, i think she still has a lot of Negative feelings toward him??? he abandoned her, he tried to make her new father lose his job (again!), and he didn’t even try to see her (which to be fair, it’s complicated!); but thats a hard thing to forgive. and maybe she’s upset with herself for that. that she doesn’t know how to feel about it. he wasn’t always terrible to her, but he’s done things that are incredibly hard to forgive. and maybe she never will forgive him for that. she’d be right either way. (i’m personally team she would not, but that’s beside the point.) i think trucy loves the idea of him more than… the actual zak. she loves the memory. the magician. but she can’t love the father.
“listen. i don’t think trucy hates zak. and i don’t think phoenix like… hates him a lot either. it’s a messy, complicated feeling that they have regarding him (no this is not an apology post for him this is just me saying “oh boy those feelings are a Lot”) Trucy looked up to him a lot when she was little even before he disappeared and loved him so much. she hung his photo up on a wall that she knew she would see practically every day so she wouldn’t forget what he looked like. she talked to it, too. We don’t know how long she waited for him to come back for her, or how long she wanted him to do that. we unfortunately don’t get to see how she reacted to his murder either, all we got was phoenix mentioning being the only one who knows how she feels (cut to her crying)

apollo has a case but he’s SUPER sick. he barely made it to the agency before he passed out, so trucy, knowing that athena has her own case that morning, decides to take his place. she disguises herself as apollo so he doesn’t get in trouble for missing, she was going to assist him  anyway. she already knows a lot of the facts. all she needs to do is grab her apollo “costume” (a spare set of his clothes-no one knows why or how she got them), gel her bangs, and… well. hope for the best! shouldn’t be too hard! maybe phoenix assists her (why isn’t he just doing it? i dunno! trucy’s insistent on doing it) or she goes alone trucy’s up against klavier. he recognizes her instantly but says nothing when the judge questions her. he just laughs and goes “of course that’s apollo justice???? what’s not clicking.” OH and she can steal the bracelet which can help lead into the sibling reveal eventually. maybe trucy says “wow! it feels like i was always meant to wear this thing!” or “it fits like a glove. wonder if i can get one just like it!” and phoenix says SOMETHING that triggers her perceive abilities.
