Parts of a really big shell. You can often find fragments of them there with only the thickness hinting how big the shell once was. We were told that that these shells could grow truly giant.
My favorite piece because it’s the first time I fond something like this: The spike of an urchin, it has a lot of tiny spikes that are preserved very well
After one day there everything is chalked

The broken decal line is on right under the word propeller the decal film stops entirely… but the paint is on so what ever 😂
Most surprisingly that thing hast kinda stretched. I had to cut away a little around the bump but otherwise it fits

It’s of course not an exact match but come on it is very close! XD It was fun to paint him in a more cartoony way. Also had to paint him over a couple of times because I tried zenithal highlights again and it didn’t work out once again. Maybe I should give up on this technique…
