Update, home hasn't burned down yet, buddy is still going strong. Now, next time I will buy disks larger than a TB to test out RAID, but hey, it's the learning that counts, right?

I will say, it does have troubles with the Jellyfin media if the client does not support the codec and has to transcode. Pretty sure I've had to reset it when that happens, cause it becomes unresponsive and closes all connections.

What kind of RAID are you testing and what usecase are you looking to use it for? Is performance important, and will workload lean towards reads or writes?
