it might be like warwick's augmented arm or vi's tattoo where it switches sides depending on which way samira's facing. typically, you want a character's eyes to be visible, so by that logic putting her seeing eye towards the players tracks
It may be a case of visual clarity (keeping her eye closer to the viewer) But her clothing looks a lot like Katarina's. And Katarina's scar is on the right (her left)... conspiracy?
Even her mole is in the correct side, I think they just messed up her eyepatch LOL
