UFT @uft.org · May 29 The Department of Education has confirmed it needs more time for votes to be counted in the Teachers’ Retirement System election. Each candidate’s tellers (vote counters) will have additional time to count and verify votes.

While this election is administered by the DOE, the UFT is closely monitoring the process and will provide updates as vote tallying moves forward on June 2. Thanks again to all our members who participated in these elections!
