So Jackenstien was actually supposed to show up? I thought he was specifically meant not to for being too big. I was sad about it, but thought it made sense.

Susie's BetterHeal was changed to just "Heal" both in and out of battle, unfortunately for me there's no other differences apart from the magic increase being consistent, I really wish we could train up Susie's healing more as Ralsei just outclasses her with ReviveSong
Tbh bombs doesn't need a nerf, it just needs better visuals. Maybe it's just me but I genuinely didn't even notice that where the bombs land is actually telegraphed. Same issue I had with sword tunnel, the difficulty was fine, just the visuals of it was poor.
For me the best way I found to deal with the bomberman attack was to slow down chill out. Though I suggest maybe changing the color of the flashing circle indicators to something other than dark red and yellow? they blend in with the purple grid, it's hard to see or notice in the chaos sometimes

When I bought it, I was healthy and reading in English wasn't a problem. Now, with glaucoma, being able to tolerate the colors while reading in English has become a big problem. Esperaré a que esté en español, para no tener que forzar la vista ni lastimarme los ojos.

Thank you for making the secret boss nerf optional, because this time around I genuinely don't think the attack people are complaining about is unfair and I would've really disliked the nerf to be forced

Toby if you guys are going back to fix the older chapters there's a typo in ch1 for lancers dialogue at the end of the game (for when you interact with him on the throne twice iirc) and this has bothered me for years, if you can fix it my soul is yours...

I know its optional, but getting the ability to nerf bombs after only 1 loss is kinda crazy, especially when the final boss takes 6 losses. Idk i feel players should at least Get a Chance (haha) to learn the attack first (it is learnable!)

Question for the jackenstein fix, does this retroactively fix jackenstein being missing in existing saves, or just only preventing from happening to new files? Personally I didn’t slay the titan spawns but I knew that some people did have that issue
susie's magic isnt fixed. in this patch it checks if you Have Betterheal not if you beat the boss so you always get the magic

I personally don't think the bomb attacks needed to be nerfed in terms of their attack patterns or damage (at least not to a huge degree). My problem was the lack of consistency between the regular bombs not having indicators of where the explosions will appear while the giant ones do.

toby and co, im begging you, let me still have the cutscene where ralsei expresses joy at the idea of being a princess and i get to validate her for it even on a starwalker save file this is my #1 problem with the game and if it's never fixed, i will simply never recruit starwalker again.
Referring to an "option" to nerf the bomb attack, as opposed to just "the bomb attack will be nerfed" or having it be adaptive like Flowery, is interesting — I wonder if we're gonna be asked after respawning "Hey, was I going too hard on you" then have to pick yes or no, that would be funny.

hey, would it be possible for you guys to add the optional nerf mechanic to the main final boss of the chapter as well, I think that's a way better option than currently where it forcibly nerfs the boss without saying anything, while still letting players who struggle proceed with the story

It sounds like everyone was having problems with the bombs during the Shadow Crystal boss fight, while I meanwhile was having issues with the tube and sometimes the horizontal line attacks. That's kinda interesting to hear!
can you fix the final attack of the secret boss? it feels like there's zero room for error and requires too many near perfect inputs

One thing I'm not a fan of is how nearly every "balance change" is a hasty pity mechanic. Fight balance patches should tweak the attacks themselves (patterns, hitboxes, etc.) instead of nerfing damage values per loss, which doesn't fix anything for a lot of people. Still, thanks for your work!
