I later traveled sitting along these two on the train back home, and the man had a great, profund story to tell about him, his son and grandson. People are best caught in their day to day acts.

Referring to my previous post: this video shows how the Pentax MX I serviced correctly triggers the shutter curtains. It was quite some work!
I took a picture of a Pentax MX I disassembled because the shutter remains open. The MX is a all-mechanical camera, as time passes, the thin, strong, cable that activates the shutter must be re-tensioned. It’s a hello of a job that induce a lot of respect for those who once worked on the assembly line putting these miniaturisation marvels together.
The image shows that Bluesky considers a link to whitehouse.gov a source of disinformation. How can we blame the algorithm?

An old, wasted boat left on the pebble beaches of Hastings under a heavily overcast sky. The picture is halved because it’s the that initial frame one shoots to advance the roll to an unexposed part of the film medium.
The doors of my kitchen cabinets have circular holes in place of pulls. I project a shadow from the window so that two of those holes are aligned with my head, giving the illusion that thise are the shadow’s eyes. Shadow + hollow eyes evoke a sense of not being.
Textiles left-overs show their colours through a rippled glass in a window in Paris. The picture resembles an impressionist painting, with sudden waves of colours shaping vague shapes, engaging the viewer to find a pattern that never ends. My "mind's eye" suddenly realised the connection between the place that nurtured impressionism and what I was seeing. All I had was a mobile phone at the moment, but the result is very near to my perception at the moment.
