What we do: - Host regular public events, including lectures and discussions, about a variety of relevant ethical issues. - Facilitate a number of research initiatives, such as the Algorithm Bias in Canada project, which promotes understanding about the effects of algorithmic bias and looks to shape more equitable AI systems. - Operate a Fellows Programs for Visiting Faculty, Post-Doctoral, Doctoral, Graduate & Undergraduate Fellows.
Welcome to the U of T Centre for Ethics. We’re the interdisciplinary centre at the University of Toronto where conversations about ethics happen. We facilitate discussions about topical ethical issues and advance research and teaching in the field of ethics.
