StreetsblogUSA seeks a summer intern to support one of the nation’s leading and most long-standing advocacy journalism outfits covering the movement for transportation reform in America. This fully remote, contract position will work closely with Streetsblog USA’s team to help produce daily news, analysis, opinion, and social media content, in addition to administrative and technical support. Priority will be given but will not be exclusive to candidates with talent for producing and curating original short-form video content and partnerships with video creators relevant to the Streetsblog mission. Other projects may include: writing (including byline opportunities), research, data visualization, audio content production, simple back-end website maintenance, and anything else that meets our needs and your unique skill set. This position will be available as soon as May 1 to August 15 at a rate of $17.50 an hour, for a maximum of 15 hours per week, on a flexible schedule between the hours of 8am and 5pm ET, Monday through Friday. Exceptional interns may have the opportunity to continue on in the fall.
