A large ash tree trunk with small branches seen in a local woodland. I love the sunlit, transparent leaves and the rough bark.
I always enjoy looking up at the tree's beautiful canopies during woodland walks. Here is one seen in the ancient oak woodland along Golitha Falls in Cornwall, UK where we were on a one-week holiday last week during the heatwave. Unfortunately I accidentally left my mobile phone settings on low resolution, therefore the quality is not so good. On that day there were tropical temperatures and humidity.
Seals scared by two boys on paddling boards arriving Ng and approaching them while resting on rocks during low tide. They called their pups who were resting in the distance and moved over dangerous rocky terrain to get back to the group. I will post a follow up reel about their journey.

Bempton Cliffs at the east Yorkshire coast. I digitally mirrored the photos resulting in a central, horizontal band of pink flowers (red campion) and four cliff edges with a small arch each and an opening towards the blue sea.

Attenborough Nature Reserve view towards one of the lakes that have become a haven for birds over the last 60 years. David Attenborough's family comes from the local village and he opened the nature reserve 60 years ago.

A little brook with water cascading over boulders, creating a calming and invigorating water sound. Located in the Peak District, Longshaw Estate.
In Padley Gorge, ancient oak and birch trees grow along gentle slopes, forming the most wonderful twisted shapes, and in the valley below a crystal-clear stream, Burbage Brook, rushes across rocks.
Lily resting, playing, on holidays and pondering or listening. She is a West Highland Terrier. One of the photos shows my daughter holding her when she was tired during a coastal walk during a short stay near Scarborough.
Sunlight breaking through the clouds during a walk along the Devon Hooken cliffs woodland last August. In the foreground you see woodland trees and on the right side steep cliffs. The gap in the clouds is in the centre and almost reflects the shape of the sea. The sun rays illuminated the cloud borders and fall onto the cliffs and sea in diagonal transparent lines.

Seen on a local hedgerow. Lichen are neither plant or animal, but a symbiotic partnership. Because lichens thrive on bare rock and in extreme conditions, they are symbols of resilience and adaptability. Apparently, they are some of the earth’s oldest life-forms, and can live for over 4000 years!
Submerged trees during late afternoon at Nottinghamshire's Attenborough Nature Reserve, a wetland next to the river Trent. It is a riparian wetland, an important ecosystem connecting river and land.

I digitally mirrored a photo of a fern for this image with two green eyes looking at us, and loved the pareidolia - seeing these eyes and blurred green creatures in the background. As if nature was a sentient being.

An old lime tree seen during a local walk nearby on Sunday. I love the texture of the bark and green lichen on it, as well as the single trunk seems to have grown into three separate smaller trunks over time.

Intertwined tree trunk(s) seen at Padley Gorge, an ancient woodland in the Peak District with mossy rocks, trees, a brook and small waterfalls. It is a temperate rainforest, one of the most inland examples in the UK, known for its ancient oak and birch trees, high humidity, and frequent rainfall which create the lush conditions necessary for this type of ecosystem.

Swinging on a very late swing seat attached to an old beech tree's sunlit canopy . I am happily smiling, because I enjoyed it (childhood memories)! The seat was a bit low, therefore I have to move legs away from the ground at the lowest point.
