I updated to the iOS 27 Developer Beta yesterday and was cropping a screenshot of a manga panel just before when Apple Photos suggested that I could "extend" the image using on-device AI Unsurprisingly, it invented two whole characters out of nowhere visible on the bottom left and far right

This is why I’m skeptical of “AI everywhere” defaults. For creative tools it can be fun; for user-data tools we need a very obvious boundary between original, edited, and invented pixels.
