She slumbers peacefully next to a stack of papers. Some replete with writing, others awaiting their missive. Your missive. The prayer—if it can so be called—she has just offered lies impaled upon a miniature spear, hanging loosely over the many other pages that she has used in her supplications, each stained by a generous dollop of blood.

Of course, the saying is not precisely… precise. Because if there is anything more inscrutable than the universe, it is the self.
My self, and I would like to offer myself to you.
I want to see what you see. I want to feel what you feel. I want to know what it is you know, that vastness across time and space, I want to see sideways in time and know what paths I might have tread.
What paths we may have tread. What paths we may tread yet, and not might have, but have.
Even if it kills me.

Today Amazon told me my A+ content was a community violation and gave me the reason: I used the word "lesbian" in the tropes list for my sapphic romance.

Gujo, in a kinda dutch-angled bookstore shot with everything off-kilter pointed towards her, goes "i can't even tell if i'm thinking about the books or about chin-lan anymore."

Botan, at the bottom of a spiral staircase, standing in a pillar of light, asks "ibuki... we are moving forward, aren't we?"
