It's a very good image. I like the B&W version for the contrast and the darker background. I like this one for the autumnal monochrome tone. I'm always surprised how B&W versions of colour pics often need more contrast. So now, I usually check out the B&W version when grading for colour.
I saw and liked the b&w version yesterday, and I like this one just as much. So tough to choose. Like the name you selected suggests, each version captures the seasonal balance of cool and warmth in that transitional time. Lovely shot in both versions!
