EDGE Edge is a dynamic resource that enhances mundane abilities and fuels supernatural powers, like jigs. It is a non-diegetic resource, which means that it does not exist within the story. It is something the player (or weaver) has — not something the character has. How Edge Flows At the start of each game session, each player receives 2 Edge. The weaver receives 2 Edge per player. After initial distribution, when a player gains Edge, it comes from the weaver’s pool. When players spend Edge, they give it to the weaver and it’s added to the weaver’s pool. When weavers spend Edge, it goes to the Table Pool.  If the wWeaver is out of Edge and a player earns Edge, it is created from Out Of Game and added to that player’s pool. Weavers gain Edge when players spend it or if they do something really cool and the table agrees that they should gain Edge. When weavers gain Edge, it comes from Out Of Game. Weaver characters — actors, agents, antagonists, beasties, and extras, etc. — spend Edge from the weaver’s pool.

I couldn't hear your heartbeat, but I could feel mine reaching for yours. I wondered if they synced. I wondered if they were playing on the same notes. People shouting in the other room. Gunfights. Beeping bombs. Disablers chirping. The wind outside dragging leaves into one another. Cars in the distance casting waves of sound. Sirens howling from far off boulevards. Your breath. My breath. Our secret.
