Hand sewn felt patch of the popular meme of the classic Notorious B.I.G. lyric “Puttin five karats in my baby girls ear”. Image show a five carrots stuffed into the little girls ear. Biggie has a gold crown and a multicolored coogi style sweater made from close to 100 individual tiny pieces of felt. Close to 30 hrs of work in the patch
In this photo I’m wearing a mask made from hundreds of pieces of cut up felt, and embroidery floss. The top half of the mask is made of browns, greys, orange, and off white felt and maroon thread. The bottom half is made of greys, whites, tan and brown pieces of felt and an off white thread. I call the style of art ArticulatedTexTiles which is also the title of my album.
