The first two pictures here are photos taken with a low-quality digital or disposable camera at close range in a dark 00s bar or restaurant. The lighting is very directional and easy to see. This second set is of the Serbian group BIT Band, it is probably touched up but the lighting is logical.

This is the poster for the movie Southland Tales, there are three subjects that each have multiple distinct sources of light and they are photoshopped into the same picture because it is a movie poster. Many posters or promotional photos do this, everybody is lit independently then edited together.
