Footage from last summer’s push up Grays Peak. Early light, thin air, and that slow-motion feeling where every step past 13,000 feet feels like a group project with gravity. Can’t wait to get back on trails like this post-rehab. #14ers #coloradohiking #grayspeak

I hiked some 11,000-12k routes around Telluride and I know what you mean. Noticeable difference from even 9-10k in California.

Amazing 👏🏻 I'm originally from the west. Southern California. I remember going to Colorado, skiing with friends. ( Breck) Well, they skied while I was helped off the ski lift by the lift operator , terrified. 😂 I imagine you have to condition your lungs to the thinner air at that elevation.

"that slow-motion feeling where every step past 13,000 feet feels like a group project with gravity" - well put! Great video. It brought back memories of summiting a few of CO's 14ers. Never did get to the top of Grays or Torreys (two separate attempts) but that's OK. The approach is magic ✨🌄
