The farther you want the image in focus, the higher the aperture NUMBER, also the shutter needs to stay open longer. For shorter focus, dial down the aperture for portraits where you don't want the background in focus. Then you can slow down the shutter speed. There are formulas, but screw those.

Nederland! I lived in Broomfield for 6+ years and loved the surrounding area. I loved the people, blue skies, burger choices, Sprouts, the Butterfly Pavillion, a Rockies game once in a while. I never acclimated to the thin air though, had to leave or be on oxygen. Dr. said that happens to some. 😭
