This draws attention to the widely-established and glaringly obvious problem of press and headlines concealing that domestic violence / violence against women is the "violent behavior" referred to. One type of violence connects American law enforcement and mass shooters who murder people in the street. ONE TYPE. It's always that. Always. Headlines concealing the type of violence actively facilitate the continuance of this specific violence. Hiding the fact is as transparently collusive as "officer-involved shooting." Domestic violence/intimate partner violence, particularly toward women, has been proven as the singlemost reliable and valid indicator of violent behavior. Researchers have found that most mass shooters are linked by a common thread: a history of misogyny, violence against female partners or family members, or sharing women-hating views online.
