The second stage is then the boss battle from that stage. We start with a gun which we can recharge to get a stronger attack and after defeating a boss we'll get new weapons. I managed to clear the first platform part. However, sometimes the bosses were a bit hard to defeat. And sometimes it may feel very challenging. Also, every boss is weak to certain weapons, so a good idea is to know these weaknesses and defeat the bosses in an order. The final boss, however, was extremely insane. So hint: During your journey in this video game, try to get as many HP improvements as possible. Also, graphics and music were gorgeous during the gameplay. So I must say this game ages well despite being from 1993. To sum up, this is a challenging video game great for anyone looking for a more hardcore platformer.

Also, now Link will have the help of Ezno, who has the aspect of his green cap and will definitely be very helpful to advance in some parts of the story. Graphically, the game looks gorgeous. The pixel art is very well done, being the best Zelda GameBoy in this aspect. Also, the music is also very good, from the classic Zelda themes to new ones. However, the main story duration may feel shorter than other Zelda games. And as for difficulty, it has medium difficulty. Sometimes we'll have to think outside of the box to advance in the game or to defeat some enemies, but it really doesn't feel like a frustrating game. Definitely, this is a good game if you like Zelda games, and also a short and good game to start in this franchise if you've never played it and want to give it a try.

Regarding its gameplay, this game really has a lot of text, leaving a small part of the game to explore the temple, in which we have to look for hints or interrogate suspected persons. And in this exploration part sometimes you may feel a bit lost. There are specific places during the gameplay that you have to check but they aren't pretty obvious, so in a blind gameplay expect to get stuck at some points until you discover the way to continue. Leaving aside the “hard gameplay”, the story is like a regular episode, so if you are passionate about this manga, and really love solving these mysteries you will find an OK video game here. The music is OK, but the graphics, especially the sprite characters are well drawn to be a GBC video game. To sum up, if you like reading a lot and solving these cases, here you'll find an OK experience, especially on a system made mainly keeping in mind kids as a target in most games, and in which this genre wasn't very common on the GBC games released in the West.

Here we'll control Shantae, a half genie who has to stop the malefic plans of Risky Boots to save her world. To achieve her quest, we'll control Shantae in a 2D metroidvania video game in which we'll have to visit several places as well as entering dangerous dungeons and defeating their bosses. An interesting feature of this game is that Shantae, as a half genie, can transform into different animals, letting us explore previous places that had some inaccessible areas before unlocking the new transformation. As a late GBC video game, this game pushes the GBC system to its limits to graphically give us one of the best experiences we can find in this system. The music, despite being in 8-bit really has some of the best tracks that still nowadays is used in posterior games. If I had to add some bad points, I'd say the difficulty in the first stages of the game is a bit higher, especially because we only have 3 hearts and we have to travel between large maps,with loads of monsters and not many choices to recover health unless we bring with us potions. To sum up, we have a great metroidvania that you really should give it a try if you like this genre. Besides, the fact of being a half genie and being able to transform into different animals give us a fresh air in this genre.

It says: Another Ham-adventure for the GBA after the events of Ham-Ham Heartbreak (but it's not necessary to have played the previous game to play this one). This game was only released in Japan and Europe, but never in North America. The plot is completely different from the previous titles. This time we have to help Bo, a Hamster from RainbowLand, to return him to home. To do that, we have to get 7 items, having each item a color that represents one of the color rainbow. To achieve the main task, we are again in an adventure video game. But the gameplay is slightly different from the previous entries. The most notorious is that this time we don't have to learn new Ham-Words and to complete the Ham-Dictionary to advance in the story. This time we'll go to different areas in which we have to get an item that has one of the rainbow colors in each area. As in the previous games, each area has its own funny events that we'll have to do in order to advance in that area until we get one of the rainbow colors. Definitely for me the lack of the Ham-Dictionary made the game more accessible in which I didn't have that feeling of being lost that I had at some points in the other games. To advance in each area, instead of getting new words, we'll have to complete “Ham Games”, small minigames that will appear at some part of the game. Some of them may be a bit challenging at first, but with some tries, they are very easy to complete. An interesting point to add is that once we complete the main story, we unlock a postgame in which we have to look for several hamsters. This includes visiting the areas again as well as that we'll have access to new areas and new events and minigames to discover. Definitely, the postgame part was a bit hard because I felt lost sometimes, not knowing where to continue exploring. So expect here talking more than once to the different hamsters to find out where to continue.

Its gameplay really gives a fresh air inside this overmassified genre. Besides, the graphics are cute and well worked. And the music really has Pokémon vibes from the GameBoy era. Definitely you should give this hidden gem a try if you are looking for a new experience.

We have to move from map to map, get items in dungeons and fight enemies. The bosses for themselves are not very hard to defeat, and the dungeons are quite interesting to explore. If you love the 2D Zelda games, you'll like this game. And speaking of 2D Zelda games, a thing I realised is that here you'll find some tiles from those games. Overall this is a short game (it took me around 5 hours to complete the main story) that you'll find an entertaining adventure if you like adventure games and exploring new areas.

The image is a review of the video game Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Heartbreak for the GameBoy Advance system made by the babiniku VTuber Violet NoiaMaca. It says: This is the sequel of Ham-Hams Unite. And basically it has the same gameplay: It's an adventure video game in which we have to explore the world as hamsters, learning new words and helping other hamsters. Unlike the previous entry, here we have an antagonist character: Spat, a hamster who is always trying to break the relationship between hamsters. And having the same gameplay, we have to find the correct words, use them in the proper situations and save their relationships. Graphically, the game looks even better than the previous title. Yes, this is a GBA game and this makes the game has more details than the GBC one. This means that the hamster expressions are very well worked and it really feels like an immersive ham-experience. A special mention is that this game presents more minigames than the GBC title. Also, it was fun to have “battles” using the game engine. This really gives the game a fresh air during the gameplay. As a negative point, this game laks in the same thing as its predecessor. Sometimes you can find you can't continue the story because you are missing some words, making you have to speak again with all the hamsters looking for these words to advance. This may affect the game length. But to sum up, you'll find another charming and cozy game here if you are looking for a relaxing video game. Also, it's not needed to have played the previous game to enjoy this game, so definitely you should give it a try.

The game has a second generation style. It also includes demaked the graphics from the 5th gen like if this was released for the GBC. Graphically it's pretty well designed and it really doesn't feel like another crystal hack. The story is also very decent as to be a hack, and it perfectly could pass as an official game. Here, we'll start in Humillau City a few years after the events from B2W2. Prepare to revisit Unova one more time and learn more about what happened to some characters. It also includes a day/night system, a special/physical split and other QoL. However a feature I'm sure you'll miss is seasonal changes. However, I guess implementing this in a GBC game was very hard, but this isn't a thing that ruins the experience. It also includes 252 Pokémon from the first 5 generations (I guess due to space limitations), but the selection is pretty decent. Also, the Pokémon sprites really feel like they were released on the GBC. To sum up, if you are looking for a nostalgic experience if you enjoyed the 5th gen a lot, then definitely this is a hack that at least you should give it a try.

From all the rhythm video games I've played so far, as a game mechanism this is my favourite franchise, because despite the rest of the rhythm games I've played, here we can clear the stages only by listening to the music and pressing the buttons at the correct time. Its graphics are good and its music is nice to hear. However, playing this game on an emulator makes the experience very demanding, like if you have to be very accurate when you have to press the buttons. However, I played this game on real hardware, and the experience was better: It didn't have the same difficulty on completing its minigames because the game responded correctly to the control, so perhaps this is a problem from my emulator... To sum up, at least for me, it was a different experience following the rhythm of the minigames because I even was able to complete the stages without watching the screen, and I think most rhythm games should be able to get that experience.
