This very much puts a question mark on so much of the niche media optimism we鈥檝e been seeing about solar and battery installations still going heavy despite Trump鈥榮 various barricades.
Yep, the U.S. was already lagging behind and Trump essentially handed the 21st century energy dominance to China. But sadly, that鈥檚 not the worst of his hundreds of blunders.

Stands to reason. The profiteering from clean energy is far less than that from fossil fuels, so the bribes aren鈥檛 nearly as lucrative.
Also interesting, and something of a narrative violation: the US states where load growth is *slowest* are raising electricity rates *fastest*, and vice versa. Load growth can help keep rates down!
