I saw The Return of Jackie and Judy a few days ago — Carrie Brownstein and Corin Tucker!
My best friend and I went to see Hum for two nights at Slide Away in Chicago and were surprised by how many younger people (teens and early 20s we guessed) that were at the show too! Our 90s indie bands are cool again! Didn't make Pavement today but wore this in solidarity:

When I see Bad Religion and Dropkick Murphys in Baltimore last year I was impressed at how many younger people were there. I know Dropkick skews younger than BR but it was better than the BR show in Philly. I could put my kids through college selling bootleg Dr Scholls inserts there
It was a fun show! The last time I saw them was at RKCNDY in 1992 and the sound was awful. They partially healed my past.
