And even if they are essential in order for the US (and The West) to win the AI war, or at least not lose to China, it doesn’t mean a specific state, location, size and format are essential.

It didn't have to be this way with massive data centers. Could have made LLM on secure, local devices. But they wouldn't have as high of a valuation. Everything is money and we are just the casualties of their Wealth acquisition.
They're destroying our environment to suck up our data to make money off our information and control the populace through their misinformation and manipulation. It's a tentacle of the surveillance industry (going on for years but worse). I would fight it too.
