No, they haven't put a boulder on the scale, they drilled a hole in the scale and drove a YUGE bolt with a lock nut through the scale and torqued it up to 1000 ft/lbs using a 10 foot snipe.

Democracy is built on trust. Trust that the people will abide by its guidelines and do what is necessary to keep it thriving. Its blind spot is wanton corruption and people in power who do not value democracy. Trump and GOP are built around the fundamental belief that it is flawed
