What worked — and WHY? Ease is usually structured. Transitions felt smoother because expectations were visible. Students need fewer reminders because routines stayed predictable. Participation increased because directions were clearer. Fewer escalations happened because support was proactive. Students recovered faster because structure stayed consistent.

Reflection without blame: the goal isn’t fault. It’s support. Name what’s happening. Acknowledge what’s real. Clarify what’s needed now. Restore what helps to move forward.
Behavior vs Systems Strain. What we see vs what may be contributing to it. Looks like: off-task, shutdown, arguing, refusal, constant reminders, emotional escalation. Actually influenced by unclear expectations, cognitive overload, transition pace, inconsistent routines, sensory strain, too many verbal directions. Behavior reflects conditions. Patterns ask: which transition, at what time, after what activity, with what clarity, under what load. Because behavior doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens in context.
