- Our Farnham candidates made the case for the town at hustings across Farnham this week, championing road safety, proper infrastructure, SEND provision and ensuring Farnham has a real voice in the new West Surrey Unitary Authority. - Cllrs Paul Follows, Victoria Kiehl, Penny Rivers & Ruth Thomson spent the final weekend of the local election campaign out across Godalming, including at the Rotary Spring Fair, meeting residents and hearing their views ahead of Thursday's vote. - Cllrs Mark Merryweather & Gemma Long visited Huckleberries in Elstead to see the vital work supporting children with SEND needs who risk slipping through the net, with Mark pledging to champion more provision like this at the new Unitary Authority. - Cllr Oli Leach welcomed the completion and opening of the newly revamped Town Meadow play park in Haslemere, and this week joined his wife at the Haslemere food bank to provide free hot meals, as they have done since 2022. - Cllr Liz Townsend continues to pursue Thames Water over pollution at Cranleigh's sewage treatment works, with Environment Agency record revealing repeated breaches and systemic failures at the site that Thames Water failed to fix. Lib Dems working hard all year round!

And hundreds of local services affecting our daily lives. You are not voting for: - An MP (member of Parliament) or Prime Minister. - The Government in Westminster.
