I remember working on “SlingTV” for Windows platforms back in 2016, and they really wanted to leverage these “live tiles” for deep linking into content. That was a pain, but cool in the end.

How I miss Windows Phone. But Microsoft and their treatment for consumer goods killed it.

@webdesignmuseum.org hated that there were only like 5 apps on the store but loved the ui on my lumia back then
