That's awesome, but honestly that feature should have landed months ago. It's sad that it took so long to deliver such a 'simple' feature — it eroded trust needlessly :( Also, is that 'scare screen' really necessary? It's the same kind of trick we're always complaining about with FAANG products…

Make it enabled by default
your leadership pushing this "AI" garbage as a core priority is reprehensible and hijacks mozilla's resources for another project, it isn't necessarily whoever's posting on this account's fault, but leadership's patronizing arrogance is a violation. mozilla leadership out now
it really sucks that even though Firefox does it right with on device AI, there is so much stigma that the user-base can’t just see it for what it is.

Please distribute this with the killswitch enabled by default. I'm willing to bet that if you polled your userbase, an overwhelming majority would like AI to be an opt-in feature, rather than opt-out. We don't want data being fed to an AI model the moment we open the damn executable.
