Well *someone* has to write those 2,000 page Federal bills that no one else bothers to read but will complain about. Might as well be me. Mostly general video game/sci-fi/fantasy nerdery (I assume, I don't know)

The ship all lit up. In addition to before, there are now highlights toward the top of the saucer, the saucer impulse drives are lit up, the shuttlebay door is open and the shuttlebay is lit, and the bridge is a beacon.

It’s a 1/2 full gallon of milk. The gallon reads “BEST IF USER BY MAR10”, which of course looks like “MARIO”. Poor Luigi.
It is two pikachus playing dressup. The left is a male pikachu (you can tell by the tail), and he is wearing a sun hat, sunglasses, and a patterned shirt. The female pikachu (beyond the tail she also has eyelashes and a bow on the tail and her cheekspots are a pinkish color) is wearing a baseball hat (with a flower in the hat) and a floral dress. Both are waving at the viewer. They're names are, unfortunately, Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu (so I guess they are not married). It is from the trailer for Winds and Waves.
An apple weather forecast. You can’t see the day, but it’s for Sunday. There’s right now a prediction for 20 to 24inches of snow. That will be fun

A view from the rear of the ship. The engineering hull is complete but the saucer section is not yet done. The center of the saucer is built out (including a bridge, the registry, and the main shuttlebay with an approaching shuttlepod) but the outer reaches of the saucer only have ribs to show how big the saucer will be on completion. The entire ship sits somewhat precariously on the edge of a bookcase with scattered smaller ships visible. I will absolutely knock into this if I’m not careful and I don’t think this is the permanent location.
A much cleaner dinner table compared to last photo, since most of the still unopened plastic baggies have been put away. A completed Lego engineering hull sits on a stand, nacelles attached. In front of it, the beginnings of the saucer section, including an open to space main shuttlebay with a very cute little shuttlepod. Manuals and plates and a placemat can also be seen.

Things are a bit of a mess rn tbqh

My favorite Christmas meme. It’s a Christmas velociraptor in black and white. He’s in a Santa hat and has an uncharacteristic look of childish wonder in his eyes and a particularly adorable blep. Velociraptors are famously incapable of sophisticated speech (along with every other animal but humans I gusss). The first panel is zoomed out, with a caption “it chrismas”. The second panel zooms into the face with the aforementioned childish wonder gleaming in his eyes and blep, with entertaingly juxtaposed razor sharp teeth. The caption here reads “merr chrismas”.
It’s a standard 6-panel Qwantz comic. Panel 1: T-Rex: Today is a good day I think for walking around and doing nothing! Panel 2: T-Rex: Hah hah, just kidding! Because today’s actually the day to talk up Mark!! Panel 3: Dromiceiomimus: Hold up - who’s this “Mark” person, T-Rex? T-Rex: Mark! The EVE ONLINE, ESCAPE ROOM, and STAR TREK: TNG ENJOYER?? The law-school graduate who helps forge all the legislation that hits the floor of the UNITED STATES SENATE?? C’mon, you know Mark! He’s ONLY the greatest guy I’ve ever made up! Panel 4: Utahraptor: Wait, you made him up?! T-Rex: Dude, of course I did! Panel 5: T-Rex: No guy THAT amazing could exist in real life. He’s own sworn ONCE, and it was at his grade one teacher! INCREDIBLE. Mark also sings AND likes trains AND once wanted to sing ON trains! I bet he’s gonna do it, too. MARK IS UNSTOPPABLE. Utahraptor: No guy is THAT perfect! You gotta give him a flaw. Panel 6: T-Rex: EUGH, FINE. He’s LEGENDARILY bad at, I don’t know… operating a camera? Utahraptor (offscreen): Great! I believe in him now. T-Rex: I DO TOO! Honestly I’ve got BASICALLY nothing but good things to say about him!
It’s a small 2-foot fake Christmas tree sitting next to a TV. On the tree hangs both traditional (if simple) Christmas baubles and also a number of Micro Machine Star Trek ships. Multiple Enterprises, along with other Federation, Klingon, and Ferengi ships can be seen.

Tina had ditched her own holiday event to come be here for Louise, who had put together a heartfelt poem that had been featured at the library, but Louise didn't want her parents to feel bad for missing her event (they were already double booked with children holiday events), so she had lied about what the poem is about. It's not in the photo, but right now a piece from the movie Mishima, composed by Philip Glass, is being played on xylophones and violins. Gene, offscreen at the school assembly, is playing the piece with the rest of his sixth grade class, with Bob watching. It's a lovely episode.

It’s the new Lego Enterprise-D model, sitting in an opened cardboard box. It is quite sizeable. It also came with a smaller type-15 shuttle pod, though it is not at all to scale. There’s 3600 pieces in, to paraphrase Star Trek Picard, ‘the fat one’.
It’s 2 black and white drawings next to each other (not particularly detailed but certainly better than I could do). In the first one, a dog looks straight ahead. It has strong "but i maked these" sad gallbladder comic vibes, and I love it (and, again, feel it deeply in my bones)

Clouds speckle the shot of downtown Chicago from however high a plane gets by the time it passes the Loop after taking off from O’Hare. The shot is looking south, with Navy Pier and the Sears Tower plainly visible. A wingtip can be seen, but it doesn’t block the view. The city is gorgeous, as it always is.

It's a Simpsons reference because of course it is. Marge is driving Bart and Lisa in the station wagon, and the kids are both looking a little full of ennui. Marge, her hair scrunched against the roof of the car, is saying "Devs, could you lighten up a little?". It's because Expedition 33 is a very, very dark game, you see.
It’s a dramatic movie poster for Air Bud Returns. The iconic dog is backlit in light that’s orange to the left and blue to the right. An adorable, fluffy paw is resting on a basketball. He looks spectacular, which is not hard because he’s friggin Air Bud and he is BACK.
It’s a shot from a hockey match between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Anaheim Ducks, but no hockey is actually seen (though the score is 0-1 Flyers, with 4:51 left in the first period). Instead, a corner of the arena is here. Gritty, the Flyers’ beloved eccentric, Mr. It themed mascot, has set up a lemonade stand in a corner of the arena, surrounded by fans. He is selling lemonade for an exorbitant price. He is also holding a sign up that says “No Grapes”. The Ducks’, well, duck mascot looks on with a look of dejection on its face. It’s a wonderful reference to the children’s song, The Duck Song and I keep laughing at it. I assume the duck waddles away sadly after this.

A tweet on The Bad Site (tm) from @midwestern_ope, aka Midwest vs. Everybody. The picture is one very commonly found in the midwest, one of those interstate signs showing nearby "Attractions". It is, of course (this being the midwest), entirely blank. A whole bunch of pine trees can be seen behind it. Maybe those were the attraction at some point, but given its the midwest it seems unlikely. The caption reads "Babe wake up we're in the Midwest".

Today we’re driving along I-495. There is moderate traffic, but the more relevant part is that we are approaching the exit for Lee Highway. Next to that sign, a digital sign says “Avoid Tysons”. If you’re interested, it is also 6 minutes from that sign to the Dulles Toll Road.
It’s a very derpy-eyed velociraptor, so needless to say, I love him. He is wearing glasses on his snout such that they could not possibly help his vision. He is wearing a suit, poorly I might add, and is flipping up a bunch papers into the air.
