The display settings. An unnamed option lets you pick from five options presented as a gradient: larger text, unlabelled, unlabelled, default, more space. I have picked "more space".

Behind, below and on the right, is a black void. The menu bar spills off the blue rectangle and into the void. The dock is full of office and software-dev apps.

Three diagrams. A single vertical line runs through all three, labelled as being the column of pixels x. The top diagram shows a circle representing a plan view of the cylinder. A vector points to the apex of the tilted top. We take two points where the vertical line intersects the circle, at the front and back. We use Pythagoras to measure, in green, half the length of the line segment through the circle. We use our dot product to find out the height adjustments for the near and far points. Finally we use these to find the height of the columns of pixels making up the top surface and front surface of the cylinder.
