Love it! Great game with a really impressive amount of strategy, depth, and variety for so few cards. I bought the playmat with my copy. It's beautiful and makes setting up the game feel really special. I love that the base game is easy to throw in a bag and take to play with a friend, or I can set up the mat when I'm playing at home. A great game!

The 10 commandments of game design 1. Thou shalt not compare thyself to other designers; a game is a game. 2. Thou shalt never say, "I am not a designer". Thou shalt enjoy thyself; if designing games givest thy soul grief, give it up and take up... well, anything, really.

Old card: - Felt like it was sucking up your wildcards with no benefit. - Joker effect kind of broke the game. - Bit of a downer. New card: - Implies that you can dump lots of cards here. - Wildcard bonus lets you move cards to other places, spreading the party vibes. - Groovy.

The Fox in the Window I found a dead fox today. It was… a peaceful thing. A quiet, calm thing. The fox had lain across some low pine branches, its head resting on one paw. It wasn’t visibly hurt… it looked like it was sleeping. It must have known. It must have decided, “I’m going to lie here on these branches, and this is it. This is the end.” It went to sleep. And didn’t wake up. We struggle, and we strive, and we work we rest, and we create, and we play and we love… and then we stop. We all live for a time, and after that time, we don’t live any more. My dad died one month ago. This is the cycle. We have this one tiny, wonderful window to look out on the wide world.
