Aww...poor boy. My cat had it before she was rescued & treated at our local Humane Society. The older the cat/dog, the more likely it is they'll survive. We adopted our cat when she was about 2 years old. We've had her about 8 years now, and she's doing great. Hopefully, Robert will be okay too.

Unfortunately the anti-vaxer loons have moved into animals also so the shelters are full of parvo positive puppies.

Poor little Robert.. Parvovirus is extremely serious in puppies, and it’s heartbreaking that he’s going through this. It’s good that he’s already in rescue care and getting tested and monitored early intensive treatment and antibody support can make a real difference in survival chances.

My daughters dog was too young to vaccinate and caught parvo. A few thousand$ and he survived but had serious health issues later in life, costing thousand$ more. They’re worth it ❤️

This is Gambit. He just celebrated his third birthday on Monday. He had parvovirus when we got him from the breeder and had to stay at the emergency vet for several days while they treated the symptoms. Today he is happy and healthy. I hope Robert has the same luck Gambit did.
