Found some more cool photos of ML-1, the US Army microreactor from 1961. Microreactors are amazing. (Just don't forget the 500 ft. radius exclusion zone around them during operation)

That reactor looks small and modular. If only there was an abbreviation to describe it.
are there simple ways to reduce the 500ft, like stacking sandbags?
