A very busy graphic showing, from top to bottom, increasing distance required for activities from tens to hundreds to thousands of metres per trip and a range of the cumulative barriers likely to be encountered on increasing length trips. From shortest to longest, activities are moving around own home, moving from home to car/taxi, getting to a bus stop, getting to/around a supermarket/hospital, attending work/education - moving within organisation sites plus commute using public transport, taking children out to nursery/school/activities and play including carrying tired/Disabled children, taking part in local democracy, eg. We have tried to avoid increasing our prices for as long as possible, but the costs of running our sessions have continued to rise. We continue to apply for grants and support from funders to help cover the difference. However, like many charities, it is becoming harder to secure funding in the current climate. We also rely on donations from individuals and companies to help keep our sessions running and accessible. If you are able to contribute the full cost of a session or support additional attendees, please consider also making a donation when you book If you know anyone who is looking for a charity to support, we would be very grateful if you could suggest Wheels for Wellbeing.
