Why can't the title have been Metaphors in Greco-Roman antiquity or something to that effect, I probably still would've been interested in it, but the title as it stands neglects work on metaphor by many other scholars of the "ancient world". I know mostly of those in my field (cuneiform studies).

There are great scholars in Greco-Roman antiquity who are pushing back against the unhelpful blending of "classics" and "ancient world" to great effect, it's always disappointing to see titles like this. All that being said, the volume looks great and this is no fault of the contributing authors!
