Love those thistle photos, especially the first. There is something ineffable about fall: magical, nostalgic and occasionally melancholy but in a very sentimental way. My favorite season.

I like the autumn the best, and the shorter days are tolerable. I definitely enjoy the variety of seasons here in the Pacific Northwest in the States.
