I’m absolutely delighted to announce that Johanna Cernysev and Sophia Reinken have joined our team at the Windfelder Lab, based at the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology and the Justus-Liebig-University of Gießen! 🚀

Our lab focuses on functional and multimodal imaging of insects as alternative animal models for biomedical research. By harnessing advanced medical imaging techniques like computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, positron emission tomography, and photoacoustic imaging, we explore the fascinating physiological and immunological processes in insects. 🦋🔬
