You pay out the nose for popped screens, corner cracks, stupid things like “releasing pressure” on the screws and attach 3D printed doodads to make it comfy. It STILL wipes your Pokémon saves!

I bought a $10 gameboy color, replaced the speaker w/ a GBA one & melting the plastic casing to fit it. That was after 24 years of use.
Not to mention the cynical OpenFPGA. A shiny toy that was just a scheme to rope devs in to improve their product for free. Now it’s dead too, because it undermined their mission of selling FOMO hardware. Sorry to everyone who pissed away their time making cores, they won’t work on the N64 clone.
