Alt text paraprased As I’m dyslexic and copying is super hard for me. WNBA meets with their DEI team and their justice team about doing more meetings about addressing bigotry that players face from the public and and they wanna you to know they are taking it seriously. No action stated tho
🏀🤳🏿If no agreement was made for the WNBA to spend money on advertising openly denouncing the hate then what was the point of the meeting? Back in my day we used to make commercials in this country to make hateful people uncomfortable.
These sorts of messages mentioned in this statement absolutely have no place in the WNBA in any form. Good on the WNBA and WNBPA for taking a stand against such disgusting, disrespectful comments.
