Desert scene from Goblin Valley State Park in Utah. Closest to the viewer on the left is a hill/mound sloping to the right. There's a pathway through it leading down into the valley of Goblin Valley where rock formations - I believe they are called hoodoos - in deep oranges and yellows look like the walls of castle.

It was very overcast that evening and I thought sunset would be a bust until the clouds parted just enough to let light in, casting pink and orange colors on the clouds. The mountain is barely visible has mist or fog hovers are the trees on either side of the mountain. The lake shows some of the reflected colors of the sky. There's still some snow and ice around

Seattle's Space Needle is between two buildings taking up the left and right side of the photo. The full moon is perfectly - trust me, I went nuts getting the alignment correct - above the space needle. The pixel stretching is the moon looking like its in motion falling from the sky
Rattlesnake Lake in Washington State. There's some old tree stumps strewn around the edge of the lake and sticking up from the lake. The sky is split in half - red like fire on one side, and blue like ice on the other. I'd never seen a sunset like it. There's a bunch of trees lining the lake in the distance.

An ancient bristlecone pine tree, that is probably around 4,000 yrs old, stands on a hill. It's gnarled and twisted, looking out into a cloudy sunset with a hint of color.

My grey cat with either inflammatory bowel disease or lymphoma eats her lunch on a wide window sill that I’ve nicknamed the veranda. Today is a sunny day in Seattle before the rain comes tomorrow.

Last night I made arguably best tasting dinner for my monthly ancestor dinners. It’s an Iranian dish, qeymeh nesar-e qazvin - rice, lamb, rose petals, and barberries. Served on a big, blue clay plate on a table set with a winter themed table cloth. The rice is made with saffron and rose water. The lamb with saffron and rose water, Qazvini four-spice advieh, and candied orange peels reduced to a jam. Barberries are candied and reduced also. The garnish - toasted almonds and pistachios with rose petals. I knew everyone liked it when there was almost nothing left.

"Ghost" Using a shallow depth of field, the blue bells around the tulips turned into a blue mist around the white tulip. Taken in my friend's garden.

I got close with a macro lens to photograph the pink and white cherry blossoms amongst the green and brown moss of the tree they are living on.

Me in the early 80’s, I’m probably 4 or 5 years old and I swear I’m wearing something that Steve Martin would wear in the wild but crazy guys sketch. Red pants, some weird checkered jacket, and I think a white polo. Almost looks like I’m wearing boots.

a long exposure shot - there are some light trails from moving cars - of South Lake Union in Seattle. The space needle is visible with a beautiful and color mural on the building to the left of a woman with different shapes iconography, I think it represents personal freedom and liberty but im not sure. I don't know who painted the mural.
