For vertical pieces of wood the wood grain should be vertical. This isn't any help because I've described it a thousand times and people don't get it so I had to include pictures.

Importing From Blender: When importing a model from Blender, for any part of the mesh you want to have vertical wood grain, as in grain stretching from the base of the mesh to the top of the mesh, set the rotation of the model so that X=90 and Z=90. While it may look odd in Blender, when imported to Studio the grain will be correct.
