My go-to fountain pen is still my Pilot Falcon with a Soft Fine nib. The flex nib enables me to get a slight variable line width, and the pen is a reliable starter (e.g. even if I don't use it for weeks but pick it up, it still writes with no problem). I just wish it had a bigger ink capacity.

I would normally recommend converting it to eyedrop-fill where the entire barrel is the ink reservoir, but I can't in good conscience do that to a Falcon.

I feel this pen is underrated! I need to ink mine up. The nib is so expressive

I will ink up mine straight away. It was my first "nice" pen, a gift from a dear friend and I do love it for the soft nib.

Lovely sketch, and color. Thanks for sharing. Does the CON-70 not fit? If not, I'd recommend just syringe filling a cartridge for capacity, it'll hold more than a CON-40. I've heard great things about this fountain pen.

I got one for sketching theoretically but then I couldn't stop writing with it. It's such a good pen. And that's so charming.
