Before 2011, dengue outbreaks happened every summer in north Queensland. Today, the region is effectively dengue-free. It started in Cairns, January 2011. Communities learned about the Wolbachia method and agreed to participate. "No one's talking about dengue anymore" #ThrowbackThursday #TBT
