This stamp design is rectangular at the bottom and rounded at the top- I’m sure this shape has a name, but all I can think is tombstone. It’s done in a stained glass style, with thick black lines radiating out from a little cartoony fly. In front of those lines are two sarracenia pitcher plants, reaching up through fluffy clouds. This picture shows the pink linoleum stamp with black ink on it, the first impression of it I made on paper, the pencil drawing I used to transfer the image, and a pile of carved out bits and extra blade, next to a wooden tear shaped tool.

The items from my mailing list are laid on a beautiful floral quilt made my a family friends mom. On the left is a large linoprint oval sticker, printed with light blueish teal ink on light brown paper. The design is of a big cartoony slug climbing on soft spongy moss, inside a bubbly frame. On the right is a minizine, which reads, park visit natura journal! And activity zine by Jam. Above these words is a cartoony illustration of a park- a kid and their grownup read a book on a bench while another child bikes by. In the background you can see a big tree, squirrels, a little pond with reeds and a singing bird, two bunnies in the grass, a swing set, and in the din stance, a car, two busses, and a big building across the street.

Three copies of Okudazine are sitting in the bright sunshine on a 70’s vinyl floor covered in brown fern like patterns. The surface of the padd that isn’t screen is heavily stippled because I just couldn’t help myself.

In this video I’m drawing various plastic buttons with green, pink, and purple brush pens. Some button shapes include a cute lil cow, a hand holding a gem, and a big swooping bird.

My sketchbook is balanced on my knees, held steady by my blue-nailed hand. Behind it you can see many beautiful pebbles. Sketchy drawings and handwritten notes are scattered across both pages- subjects include oyster shells, a crow feeding another crow, begonias and other flowers like clematis and nodding onion, and a chunk of iron covered in barnacles.

I’m holding the side cover-side up, in dappled sunlight. It shows a pen and pencil sketch of one of the many views from the sunroom windows. You can also see a cute sparkly fish sticker on my thumbnail.

My handwriting under the shell reads “no one’s planting surveillance devices- we hoarde them because we love them.” While I doubt that the first part of the sentence is true, the second half definitely is!
