Finally, we revisit the TCC>TTC signature found by @Kelley__Harris and @jkpritch, and also by @leo_speidel et al, to have undergone an ancient pulse of intensity in European ancestry, and absent from others. We show that this pulse may be much older than previously thought (14/n)

An old pulse is hard to reconcile with the fact that this signature is so strongly specific to European ancestry. It begins its activity during the settlement of Eurasia, but shows no evidence of activity in East Asian ancestry. 🤔 (15/n)
