WSIL DSA CONDEMNS THE ACTIONS OF THE OLIGARCHY IN VENEZUELA The US actions in Venezuela are a clear move by US Capitalist interests to seize oil and power in Venezuela. Their framing of this as a police action in a drug war is as absurd and illegitimate as the hunt for Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Venezuelan people have the right to self determination without the interference of foreign capitalist powers seeking nothing more than profit at the expense of US and Venezuelan blood. We demand an end to all military action in the Global South. We call on our elected representatives to bring forth articles of impeachment against Donald J Trump. We call on our communities to resist the actions of our rogue state in whatever method they see fit and to offer aid to the Venezuelan people as they seek their own way forward.
